Kampung Chicken

Part of my Product Design Final Year Project, I created a series of dishes based on the design of the traditional rooster dishes. My aim was to modernise and formalise the Singaporean dining experience through the exploration of form and motifs found in our culinary culture. Chickens are commonality btw all the cultures in Singapore. It calls back to earlier Kampong life where people from different cultures live and work together. Thus, the chicken not only represents family, but the heritage of the kampong.
